Welcome people in their own script.
I used the open-source Tegaki renderer for this multilingual welcome. When South Indian font bundles collided, I contributed a font-family fallback fix that was merged upstream.
Welcome · स्वागत · స్వాగతం · வரவேற்பு. One greeting, shaped for each script.
Motion semantics
Different actions deserve different endings.
Saving confirms continuity. Deleting marks removal. A deleted comment dissolves so the reader understands that something used to be there.
Navigation craft
The controls stay close, then get out of the way.
A magnifying dock helps people find actions without turning the canvas into a permanent toolbar.
